My name is Christiana Sorensen, I was born in 1992, and have lived in northern Nevada for 18 years. I'm a 4th generation Nevadan and attend Carson High School. My parents received my diagnosis of Angelman's when I was 1-1/2 years old, deletion positive. The day I was born my parents said "what a perfect little angel" and they didn't realize at the time how prophetic those words would become!

I have to brag about my family & friends! My blessings are countless! I have fantastic parents, Chris and Louise, cool older brother TJ and nephew Jordan, fabulous brothers Michael and Larry + their kiddos Mallory and Keenan, and super cool Grandma Lois who spoils me rotten! I can't forget my crazy Corgi dog Heidi either:). Over the years I've also been blessed with wonderful friends and relatives, physicians, teachers, aides, peer tutors, therapists, and caregivers.

Some of my favorite things to do are cooking class, pool therapy, music and art. Before I had scoliosis surgery in 2004, I loved to do hippotherapy (horseback riding). I'm always up for a 'road trip', hanging outdoors and being the center of attention.
