Rafael Estrada

This is Rafael but we all call him "Rafi". He was born on 8/11/03 from a high risk pregnancy. Rafi was diagnosed at first with Cerebral Palsy on 1/06 and negative for AS but we were still on the waiting list to see the geneticist through Nevada Early Intervention. We had our appointment when Rafi turned three on 8/06 and we did get a result of positive for AS. Rafi has been diagnosed with a minor deletion or misprint in a small area of chromosome 15. Rafi has started horse therapy (hipotherapy) and is doing very well. He is also using sign language and picture system.
